Affectionally known as Ellie, this special mare came to us
in July of 2009. Ellie has a condition known as a bone cyst on her front left leg; a deformity of the bone which inhibits
some movement of the joint, but still allows her to live the life of a normal horse. Ellie is waiting currently for a call
back from her previous vets to see if she is eligible for surgery.
Ellie is an extremely well bred mare, an own daughter of
the Alberta Region 17 Champion Stallion AOTH, Western Canadian Breeders Reserve Champion Hunter Pleasure ATR, Bey Eclypse.
She has, aside from her leg, wonderful confirmation, extreme
Arabian type and flare, and a wonderful attitude to top it all off.
Although Ellie cannot be bred through natural breeding, we
are looking at doing an Embryo Transfer with another of my mare and stallion to produce a foal with Ellie's pedigree, type,
and flash!
